Condition: What a splendid dress - made of light pink lace over bright pink acetate. Sweetheart neckline, short sleeves, side metal zip. Skirt is semi full and made up of many top stitched pleats.
Solid in fabric and construction -- there are two slight pulls on the corners of the neckline in front, not too noticable -- but worth a mention. Otherwise clean and ready to wear, you can't miss with this beauty!

Description:Adorable sheer nylon dance dress with a very full gathered skirt. V neckline. Has a metal zip up the back, and I think it is home sewn. The print is in blue and grey, and makes up a composite of trees and buildings in a striped design. Overall in excellent condition, super light fade on the underams, but they are not stained. Also the left hand side seam of the dress has been reinforced with bias tape to prevent pulling on the seam. The neckline is clean and free of wear. No holes or pulls on the fabric or on the seams, a must have in your collection! Clean and ready to wear! |

Description:I just love this dress (I have one just like it in blue!) made of a floral print cotton in pinks/reds on white the dress has a front zip, inset gathered neckline with rick-rack trim and pin pleating down the front. And of course the dress has nice roomy pockets with rick-rack trim. Vintage does not get any better than this! Possibly home sewn, but I know dresses like these were made commercially in thw 1950s by a variety of manufacturers. Light uniform fade from normal laundering and this does not take away form the dress at all. Clean and ready to wear -- don't be left without this dress in your collection! |
