Condition: This fabric is gorgous! Deep brown cotton with a black mosaic print with tiny bits of orange and yellow as accent colors. Dress is home sewn with a side metal zip, sleeveless bodice and a very full gathered skirt.
I have not found any damage. The zipper is a little bit sticky. Clean and ready to wear -- a must have for your collection.

Condition: I have adored this dress from the minute I first saw it. Made of a light blue linen the front collar, bodice and pockets are covered in white floral embroidery. Mother of peral button up the front and has a side metal zip. There is a small hole in the beck of the collar where it will be up agaist the back of your neck. There is also a pin hole on the underarm on the left hand side by the zipper and underarm seam. I am being nit picky because this dress is beautiful and worth the buy, but does have these faults. Clean and ready to wear!

The dress does have wear on the top of the underarms, fabric is worn. Overlay and lining are free from holes and pulls. I do not know the history of this designer, but it is a lovely example of the New Era Post War designs of the 1950s.
